We Build Faithful Tools for Thoughtful Scripture Engagement

A faith based research and development company building tools, communities, and media to help people study Scripture more deeply in a digital age.

Why Study Aloud Was Created

Biblical literacy is declining, not because people lack access to Scripture, but because attention, guidance, and formation have become fragmented. Study Aloud was created to research this challenge and build tools that help people slow down, reflect, and engage Scripture meaningfully.

Our Mission

Mission Statement To advance biblical literacy by researching how people engage Scripture and building faithful tools, communities, and media that support thoughtful understanding, spiritual formation, and responsible use of technology.

Research First. Technology Second.

At Study Aloud, research means studying how people learn Scripture, how habits are formed, and how digital tools shape understanding. Development means translating those insights into products, programs, and media that serve the Church without replacing it.

User centered biblical learning research

Theology informed design decisions

Iterative experimentation and testing

Our Guiding Principles

Scripture First Technology must always serve the text, not compete with it.

Formation Over Consumption Learning is measured by transformation, not completion.

Community Matters Biblical understanding grows best in conversation and accountability.

Humility in Innovation Every tool is provisional and open to refinement
