PathWEH provides Bible study tools that offer cultural context, historical insight, and guided reflection to help users understand Scripture. We are committed to protecting your privacy and stewarding your personal information responsibly, in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and other relevant statutes.

PathWEH is owned and operated by Study Aloud LLC. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, we act as the “data controller” (under GDPR) and “business” (under CCPA/CPRA) with respect to your personal data.

We collect device identifiers, IP addresses, browser type, device/operating system, and error data to ensure technical stability, perform diagnostics, and protect against fraud or abuse.
f. Payment and Transaction Data:
If you make a purchase using PathWEH, payment information (e.g., partial credit card details, billing address) is processed securely by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). We do not store your complete payment information.
g. Cookies and Tracking Technologies:
We use limited cookies and similar technologies for authentication, user preferences, and aggregate analytics. You can manage preferences in your browser or device settings (see Section 9).

To fulfill legal obligations, respond to court orders, enforce our Terms, and safeguard the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
We do not use your personal data for “profiling” or automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning you.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal information with third-party advertisers.
We only share personal data in the following circumstances:

Journal entries, notes, and account information are retained until you delete them or your account. PathWEH uses cookies and similar tools for core application functionality and analytics. Where required by law, we obtain consent before placing cookies on your device. You may disable cookies through your browser, but certain App features may not function correctly as a result. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Our analytics tools collect only aggregate, de-identified data unless you consent to more detailed data collection.

If you access PathWEH from outside the United States, your personal data will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. We implement appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure that your data remains protected as required by GDPR and similar laws.
